What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo. You may also add your age, gender, area, a short bio and your interests. We store the plans you post or join, the notes you send to hosts, and the messages you post in plan group chats. If you join the waitlist, we store your email and role.
How we use it
Only to run TagAlongz: to show your profile to hosts and to people with matching interests, to show the group make-up of a plan (gender mix, age range, verified members), and to run group chats. We check whether your email is a work email to show a "verified" badge. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.
Who can see what
Hosts see your profile and your note when you ask to join. Group chat is visible only to accepted members of that plan. In Find my buddy you can choose to be shown to everyone, only to women, or to no one.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with Cloudflare (hosting and database). Sign-in is handled by Google.
Deleting your data
Email [email protected] and we will delete your account and data.
